This is the first game I ever played on a Mac, many years ago at a mate’s house. It’s one of those games that’s very basic in concept but is incredibly addictive and infuriating in equal amounts. The premise is that you control a paper aeroplane in a house populated by obstacles, warm air vents, candles, switches and various other devices. - Imogen

This was a brilliantly cunning puzzler which saw you controlling the central character who has to solve puzzles, level by level, to complete the game. The puzzles are varied and require some serious consideration if you’re to complete them. - Superfrog

This has to be one of my all time favourite games. I know it’s a simple cutesy platformer based across six worlds and numerous levels within each world, but there’s something about it that’s just so … enjoyable. - Grim Fandango

This is an excellent adventure game brought to us by LucasArts, the same people who gave us the superb Monkey Island series, the bizarre Day Of The Tentacle and the brilliantly weird Sam ‘n’ Max to name but a few. - Citadel

This was an “explore and collect” adventure game that saw you roaming a giant citadel with dozens of locations, creatures and scenarios. The object of the game was, ultimately, to collect three crowns - however, to achieve this you had do certain other tasks along the way.
