I’ve always liked listening to music and have bought far too many CDs for my own good, but for far too long a period it’s mostly been a background thing that I’ve barely noticed. These past couple of months, though, I’ve really started listening again and have made an effort to find some new stuff. - Meow

Well, it’s been a little over three weeks since my last proper update so I’ve forced myself at fingers-looking-like-a-gun point to write another. - A kettle! A DVD! A CD!

Hi. My name’s Timmargh and I like to dress up as a gorilla and dig for worms in the garden whilst humming “My Baby Just Cares For Me” by Nina Simone. - iTunes Quiz

Was bored, read this, decided to copy. - “Sanctuary” by Simon Webbe

Readers from Europe may know Simon Webbe as one of the members of former boy-band Blue - they split up some time in the not-to distant past and each seems to be trying to make it as a solo artist/TV presenter/reality TV star. - “Heavy Horses” by Jethro Tull

This is one of the many albums I can thank my brother for - he played plenty of music whilst I was a kid and as a result I grew up liking loads of it. - Delicious Library

I bought Delicious Library the day it was released … whenever that was - last year I think. I tinkered with it for a bit but then got bored of manually entering all my DVDs, CDs and books. - A new pair of cans

Very soon after getting my iPod it became painfully obvious that, whilst the Apple-supplied earphones sounded good, they were bloody uncomfortable and had a habit of falling out of my ear now and then. I put up with it for a couple of months but in the end it became far too annoying to continue with. - 5ongs

Another musical baton-type thing I’ve picked up from Pete Ashton’s blog - this one is about “five songs that one is digging of this moment”. Coffee & TV by Blur: I hadn’t heard this for ages until I caught the video on one of the music channels about a week ago - since then I’ve specifically looked for it in iTunes a few times. - CoverFlow

I’ve just read about CoverFlow over on The Tao of Mac. - Musical baton

I’ve read quite a few blogs lately, the authors of which have been passed a musical baton: someone they know emails them with a series of music related questions, they answer them and pass the baton on to other people. - “Blue Album” by Orbital

I started listening to Orbital back in about 1997 after hearing a friend play a 12” version of The Box - I liked what I heard, so I bought In Sides on CD. Many, many plays later it still remains one of my favourite chill-out albums. - Faith No More

I first heard Faith No More when my brother was playing The Real Thing in his car - I was hooked more or less instantly, so I went out and bought the CD. - Hi-fi

I like to think of myself as a hi-fi enthusiast - don’t get me wrong, I’m not some kind of nerd who’ll waffle on for hours about tweeters, woofers and valve amps, I just like a good sound. - Me and my iPod

I got a 20GB iPod for Christmas and it’s super.
