I saw this at my usual cinema haunt (Empire cinema in Rubery) and I really enjoyed it — a black comedy with great characters, a brilliant script and a superbly chosen soundtrack. All the leads were excellent and Colin Farrell was especially moving. - Diary of the Dead

I guess the fact that me and my mate were the only ones in to see this film (at least until two women turned up) should’ve been a bit of a clue as to how good this film was or wasn’t going to be. That said, it wasn’t as bad as I was expecting although I’m not what you’d call a fan of zombie films. - Harvester pub, Wychbold

As Mum was spending her Mothers Day down in Cheltenham with my brother she came round to my house on Saturday for a Chinese takeaway, and very nice it was too. This meant me and the carer were free on Sunday evening when we were invited to join her sister and family for a meal at the Harvester pub in Wychbold. - A garden centre

Today me and the carer went to Webbs of Wychbold, a huge garden shop that sells much more than just flowers and water features, but our main reason for going was the branch of HobbyCraft that resides inside. - Timmargh’s mini adventures

Me and the carer nipped to Sainsburys on Friday night to do a spot of grocery shopping. I bought myself a new top and one of those eye-mask-things you get on long-haul flights — more on that in a moment. I also played silly buggers taking “amusing” pictures of myself as I trundled around the store … - Mosaic

A friend of mine is getting married on 1st September and, not being one to do things by halves, he decided that instead of a stag night he’d have a stag day. I’m not gonna talk about the whole day, though, just the first event … - I’m still here

I was over-joyed to catch up with an old friend today, Jo, and when I say “old” I mean “known for quite a while”, not elderly. - Have you seen this man?

I’m actually ahead of myself for once in my life and, with N’s help, managed to apply for and get my new “disabled person’s parking card” before my current one expired - this sort of organisation and preparation is virtually unknown in my life. - Some new Flickr favourites

I’ve been using 1001 a lot recently (after being pointed to it by the lovely MHC) and as a result I’ve been able to view a lot more of the photos uploaded to Flickr than I normally can - it’s easier to browse a column of thumbnails that have already downloaded than to constantly click … wait … click … which is what I end up doing on the actual site. - The love of my life
